i hate when people say, "you need to forgive to heal/move on". no I do not. that motherfucker doesn't deserve my forgiveness + you can't forgive someone who's not sorry. they were supposed to protect me but instead they permanently damaged me. they do not deserve my forgiveness.
here's to the kids who grew up with the "shy and good kid" tag and they were actually proud of it when they were young but while growing up, they realized that they were known as a "good kid" just because they never demanded for anything, stayed silent when they were treated unfairly and also had very poor boundaries.
Shitty parents say shit like “grow up”, “act your age”, “stop acting like a kid” and then treat you and control you the exact same way they did when you were 11.
You can’t seriously expect me to act like an adult when you control every aspect of my life in the same way you always have. Start off by treating me like an adult, then maybe I’ll learn to act like one.
