my dyslexia: dude i can’t fucking tell if it looks wrong
*me silently having panic attack and setting into executive dysfunction* well fuck
"fuck you my child is completely fine" your child has a fictional father-figure who they wish were their real father figure because they want a father like that.
a mentally ill mom will treat you any type of way and then say you should understand how she feels
but if YOU show signs of your mental illness, all understanding goes out the window
Have your parents ever done/said something that just left you sit there and think
"Wow, gaslighting at its finest 🙃"
here’s something parents should know : your child is not your personal therapist. your child is not someone you can randomly scream at just cause you are stressed. your child is not your friend, you cannot and should not share details with them which might adversely affect their mental health and expect them to give you solid advice. your child is not someone you can take your frustrations out on just because you had a fight with your spouse. your child is someone you decided to bring to this world, you don’t get to ask them to pay you back or to make them feel guilty for not working.
